Something that happened in the past may still be affecting how you feel and react today.
We'll work on what's still showing up in your life now, so the past can take up less of your present.

Therapy in Huntington Beach, CA & online across California
You don't have to figure this out alone.
Maybe you've been feeling this way for a while
Let's start with where you're at and take it from there.

Hi, I'm Lynn
I see clients in my Huntington Beach office, including people from around Orange County, and online anywhere in California. I'm warm and direct and I'm usually able to spot a connection or a pattern that's hard to see when you're the one living inside it.
I don't stick with something just because it's how we've been doing it. I ask for your feedback and if an approach isn't helping we'll change course. Even when what we're working on is hard, there will be room for some lightness and humor too.
“Whatever brings you in, even if it feels impossible right now, I'll stay with you through the hard parts.”
How I can help
You don't have to figure it all out before you come to therapy. That's part of what we can do together.

Something that happened in the past may still be affecting how you feel and react today.
We'll work on what's still showing up in your life now, so the past can take up less of your present.

Maybe your mind won't slow down. You worry, replay things, feel on edge, or sometimes become anxious without knowing why.
We'll look at what's behind it and work on helping you feel better day to day.
More on anxiety therapy →
Work may be exhausting you, making you anxious, or following you home long after the workday is over.
We'll look at what's making work so hard, what you can change, and how to keep more of yourself for everything outside of work.

When anxiety, depression, or trauma hasn't moved with talk therapy or medication, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, or KAP, is another way we can work with it.
I provide the therapy before, during, and after your dosing session, with the medical side of treatment handled separately by a medical provider.

Retirement, grief, health changes, and the other things that come with getting older can bring up more than you expected.
Therapy gives you a place to talk honestly about what's changing, what you've lost, and what you still want out of this stretch of your life.

The office
Some people like a dedicated place away from everyday life. Others prefer their own space. You can meet with me in person, or by video or phone call, whichever works best for you.

Fees & hours
I'm an out-of-network provider and don't bill insurance directly. I provide a monthly superbill you can submit for possible partial reimbursement. All major credit and debit cards accepted, including HSA and FSA cards. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full session fee.
Before we start
Mostly it's the two of us getting a sense of each other and talking about what brought you in. I'll also want to understand some of your history, because what came before often helps us make sense of what's happening now. You don't have to tell me everything in the first session. We'll start with what's most important to you and go from there.
It may be. I ask for feedback as we go because I don't want us to keep doing something that isn't moving you forward. I also have approaches that don't depend on talking through the same things again, which can be useful when you already understand your history and still don't feel different.
Both. I see clients in person in Huntington Beach and online throughout California. Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is available both ways as well.
No. Plenty of people arrive knowing only that something feels off, that they're struggling more than they used to, or that something in their life needs to change. Working out what's happening is part of what we do together.
No. The medical side of treatment is handled separately by a prescriber. If you already have one, we can coordinate with them, and if you don't, I'll refer you to Journey Clinical. I provide the psychotherapy, including preparation, support during your dosing session, and integration afterward.
